We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years supply teacher in the Redditch area, where the development and wellbeing of children take priority in every aspect of your role. Role Overview:

As an Early Years Supply Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include delivering planned lessons and activities while maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment for young children. In the absence of the regular teacher, you will step in to teach and manage the classroom. For day-to-day roles, you will follow the original teacher’s lesson plans, whilst in long-term positions, you will be required to create lesson plans, with pay adjusted to your scale point. You will also be responsible for addressing challenges as they arise, including safeguarding concerns, which should be reported to the designated teacher or on-duty Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

To excel as an Early Years Supply Teacher, a strong understanding of the school's National Curriculum is essential, allowing you to effectively teach across different year groups. You should be:

  • An outstanding practitioner eager to make a positive impact as an Early Years Supply teacher
  • Skilled at engaging and enthusing pupils in their learning
  • Knowledgeable about assessment, feedback, and differentiation
  • Recent teaching experience within the last five years
  • Hold a QTS, PGCE, or ECT qualification
