About the Role:
As the Destination Parks Site Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of key parks within the council’s portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of these vital community assets.

About the Role:
As the Destination Parks Site Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of key parks within the council’s portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of these vital community assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a long-term vision and operational plan for allocated parks and green spaces, aligned with city-wide priorities.
- Oversee infrastructure improvements, conservation projects, and initiatives to enhance park assets and biodiversity.
- Create engaging, inclusive visitor experiences that attract diverse audiences and encourage repeat visits.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to co-create events, activities, and initiatives that reflect local needs and aspirations.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in parks or green space management, ideally within a local authority or public sector setting.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- A passion for community engagement and environmental stewardship.
- Ability to manage budgets, contractors, and multiple priorities effectively.
