Your new company
Our client is a leading public sector body based in Glasgow. They provide a wide range of services across Scotland and beyond. In recent years they have made significant investments across their physical and digital estates and this is continuing with a number of new enterprise systems being implemented. They are soon to commence the roll-out of a new SaaS solution to manage and coordinate all their investment, research, tenders and contracts. This is a crucial system upgrade with a priority revenue-generating area of the organisation.
Your new role
As such, they are looking to hire an experienced Business Data Analyst to help shape how the new system will best integrate into existing BI and reporting tools and the wider Data infrastructure. This will be crucial in getting maximum ROI for the new solution. Working closely with central Business Intelligence and wider Project teams, you will use your technical data background and strong customer focus to design and deliver the required data and MI solutions.
You will have a strong SQL background and be able to demonstrate knowledge around Dimensional modelling, BI reports, data visualisations, data management/governance and information security.
