CRM Marketing Manager - Midlands-based University - 12 month Fixed-Term Contract - Up to £54,395 per annum

About the role
The CRM Marketing Manager will spearhead the advancement, enhancement, and upkeep of the CRM Marketing system. This role is pivotal in augmenting business intelligence, thereby refining business decisions and bolstering student recruitment. The manager will be instrumental in automating processes and achieving the university’s marketing, recruitment, and digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the CRM Marketing Team, fostering an accessible, proactive, and cooperative environment.
  • Conduct training sessions and disseminate expertise within the university.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Business Intelligence to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Offer expert technical support and strategic data analysis to senior management and department heads.
  • Chair regular meetings with Digital Services and external vendors to mitigate technical risks and explore new opportunities for business process enhancements.
  • Oversee the CRM system’s regular review, maintenance, upgrades, and testing in partnership with Digital Services and CRM vendors.
  • Manage and report on the CRM Marketing budget on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in Open Days to oversee data capture and improve the visitor experience.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by the Head of Digital Engagement.
  • Engage in professional development and mandatory training as required.
  • Contribute to the University’s Environmental Sustainability Policy by minimising environmental impact.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of CRM system solutions and enhancements.
  • Manage multichannel recruitment campaigns and analyse engagement metrics to refine contact strategies.
  • Advise on the management, setup, and analysis of CRM records, ensuring compliance with data protection and GDPR regulations.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, system utilisation, and business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality leads and consistent communication throughout the student recruitment funnel.
  • Develop CRM templates that align with the university’s brand vision and content strategy.
