Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a public sector organisation based in Ballymena.

Your new role

Deliver the creditor function with regard to supplier payments, budgets and targets in accordance with procedures. Validate and process supplier invoices, direct debits and credit notes within specified timeframes.
Establish, maintain and review creditors management information and systems in accordance with procedures.
Responsible for the maintenance and issuing of petty cash float for Stirling and Euros, ensuring all requests for pretty cash comply with procedures.
Reconcile petty cash book on a monthly basis and top up float as and when required to maintain an appropriate level of petty cash.
Carry out month end procedures, processing and reconciliation of general revenue accounts to management reports.
Ensure the accuracy, validation and maintenance of new and existing supplier records in compliance with procedures including the security of supplier information in accordance with GDPR legislation, maintaining a high level of confidentiality towards suppliers and their information.
Verify purchase orders to ensure they agree to invoices submitted by suppliers.
Input and maintain supplier invoices to the job-project ledger.
