Contracts and Procurement Lawyer for Local Government
Your new company:
6 month temporary opportunity to join a large multi-specialism legal team within London's local government sector.
Your new role:
As a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will play a key part in supporting senior members of the team on a broad range of legal work relevant to contracts and procurement matters. This will include, but will not be limited to advising on procurement in the public sector and drafting contracts. The initial duration of the assignment is 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension and/or conversion to permanent.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Qualified as a lawyer
- Working experience in the aforementioned relevant legal matters
- Previous experience of local authority work (highly desirable)
- Previous experience of interim/locum/contract work (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of English law, local government law, equalities law, and data protection (desirable)
A DBS check, political restriction, and the right to work in the UK are needed for this role.
