Conflict, Risk, Private Practice

Your new company & role

A leading international law firm is looking for a 2-4 PQE lawyer to join their Risk Legal team. The role will support ensuring compliance obligations are met relating to anti-money laundering, international sanctions and client suitability/ reputational risk. It is a particularly interesting time of transformation as the firm is centralising the conflict's clearance process and implementing a new system.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of conflict resolution within a legal environment, with experience reviewing complex conflict reports, advising on resolution strategies, and developing policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements. You will work with fee earners to resolve conflict matters and provide training to the firm on conflict management policies and procedures.

Familiarity with US conflicts rules and tools like Intapp Conflicts is advantageous. This role suits someone who is proactive, resilient, and confident in delivering clear, strategic advice while helping shape new conflict management policies and training across the firm. A background in a large City or international law firm is preferred, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
