This company is the UK’s largest speculative developer, known for its dynamic operations in the B2B real estate sector. They are experiencing significant growth, supported by a recent £600+ million development loan facility. This financial boost allows them to continue their ambitious expansion plans, as such they are looking for a confident External Communications Manager to work closely with the Director of Capital Markets to take ownership of their communications strategy and execution.
Your new role
You will work alongside the Director of Capital Markets and the marketing team to take ownership of the media/external communications strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals. This is a broad, hands-on role that requires creativity, confidence, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience in external communications within either the Financial Services (investments) sector or the real estate sector, and have worked with the media in this space to draft press releases. You will also be working alongside external agencies to drive project priorities and timelines and implement communications strategies.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience collaborating with marketing or communications agencies to develop and implement external communications strategies
- Have B2B communications experience or real estate experience
- Have experience being a proactive resource for the completion of large projects
- Possess a meticulous eye for detail & have strong written and verbal skills
- Have the ability to perform well under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment
- Resolve issues and solve problems that may occur throughout the lifecycle of a campaign or project
