Client Manager role in Swansea

An award-winning practice that services the South Wales Accountancy Market. This role can be based at one of their three sites which are based around Swansea. They are searching for a Client Manager to join the team.

Your new role

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Reviewing work of apprentices, Semi Senior and Senior Accountants.
  • Running a portfolio of clients to Partner review.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and personal financial needs.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of bookkeeping records, management accounts, year-end accounts, and statutory accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other compliance documents.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to improve their financial performance and tax efficiency.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance and discuss future strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Stay updated on current tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.

What you'll need to succeed


  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
