Capital Projects Manager required to deliver a critical project in North Somerset!
Your new company
You will join a regional group of property developers who specialise in the development and alteration a wide range of specialist-used properties for end-use within the hospitality, retail, and leisure sectors.
Your new role
Working in partnership with the local authority and other key external stakeholders, you will be responsible for the delivery of an alteration and improvement project located in the North Somerset region. As a skilled and experienced project manager, you will take ownership of this redevelopment project from inception through to completion, representing your client to ensure that works are completed on time, to the required quality, and within budget.
Your role will involve using your construction knowledge to ensure that the main contractor is fulfilling all of their duties and responsibilities to the highest of standards, and in accordance to the project brief and specifications.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have a background within construction project management in this could involve working on the client-side, for a consultancy, or for a building contractor previously. Specific experience delivering refurbishments, alterations, or improvements to existing buildings will be highly advantageous.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an initial 4 - 6-month contract with flexible working options, although your presence on-site in the North Somerset region will be important. A daily rate of pay will be available, which is negotiatable and dependent on your level of experience, and qualifications - this will be paid to you on a weekly basis across the duration of your contract.
