Business Risk Analyst, 6-month contract, up to £300 p/d, Belfast (hybrid)
We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join the Markets Data, Content Management, and Reporting team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the implementation and maintenance of the MCA framework across Markets, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of control-related data and reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to the deployment of MCA content, facilitate control mapping and migration activities, and collaborate with global teams to enhance risk and control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain MCA-related data within the enterprise risk system of record, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on data inputs and outputs, documenting processes and findings to support audit readiness.
- Coordinate with internal support functions to manage the deployment and cascading of MCA content across global and sub-assessment units.
- Support the migration of controls into the Control Inventory and assist in mapping issues and operational risk events to relevant controls.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and contribute to the identification of process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and review CRM triggers and MCA metrics, ensuring timely updates and alignment with control standards.
Essential Criteria
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across trading and support/infrastructure/control functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
- Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills.
