Your New Role
As the Product & Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and leading the transition towards alternative fuel and EV financing solutions. You will oversee a dynamic team, ensuring the successful development and implementation of new products and market strategies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership – Developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s vision for financing infrastructure and battery electric vehicles (BEVs). You will collaborate with senior leadership to define growth targets and transformation goals, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Business Development – Identifying and evaluating new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments to drive revenue growth. You will foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, industry associations, and commercial partners, to enhance market positioning and accelerate the adoption of BEV products and infrastructure.
- Product Transformation & Development – Leading the financial services transformation required to integrate new products and services into the market. You will drive the development of new finance products tailored to the evolving demands of BEV sales, ensuring seamless alignment between sales strategies and financial solutions.
- Team Management – Leading, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team to deliver on key projects and initiatives. You will set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and ensure professional development opportunities for team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will be a strategic and results-driven leader with a strong background in business development, financial services, and product transformation within the transport or automotive industry. You will have:
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business transformation.
- Strong market analysis and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
- Expertise in financial services and product development, particularly in the transition to alternative fuel and EV financing.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with industry partners, government bodies, and commercial clients.
- A customer-focused approach, ensuring that financing solutions align with evolving market demands and sustainability goals.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation, ensuring efficient execution of business initiatives.
