Are you a passionate and dedicated Business and Economics teacher looking for your next opportunity? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a talented teacher to join their team from September 2025.

The Role
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving department in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics to KS3–KS5 students
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and CPD opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Business and/or Economics at KS4 and KS5 (KS3 desirable)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
