BIM Manager – Award-winning MEP Consultancy - Belfast

A leading Building Services and Sustainability Engineering Consultancy is seeking a talented and driven BIM Manager to join their team. This practice boasts a comprehensive portfolio of landmark projects across healthcare, technology, commercial, industrial, and educational sectors. Your new role

Whilst the role will be extremely varied, typical responsibilities could include:

  • Manage software products, including updates and customisation.
  • Implement and evaluate BIM-related software and technologies.
  • Stay updated on best practices for Revit Architecture and other BIM software.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards.
  • Maintain software templates and ensure quality control.
  • Automate routines to support standards and productivity.
  • Chair the BIM committee and report on implementation.
  • Provide hardware and network support.
  • Troubleshoot issues and liaise with vendors and support staff.
  • Coordinate project standards, assist in setup, modelling, and detailing.
  • Resolve design issues and manage digital documents.
  • Participate in industry organisations and events.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 4+ years BIM/Revit MEP experience
  • In-depth working knowledge of current Revit and BIM applications
  • Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Navisworks & BIM360
  • Experience of computational tools such as Dynamo and its benefits are desirable
  • Have a good working knowledge of industry standards such as ISO:19650 BS1192, PAS1192 and associated documents
