Bench Joiners are required for permanent roles based in Lisburn.

Your new company

A well-established specialist joinery company are looking to expand their team and have the opportunity to take on 2 permanent Bench Joiners at their workshop in Lisburn.


Your new role

You will be part of a team of people who are responsible for the manufacture of specialist and bespoke joinery items. Your role will include, but will not be limited to the following:
* Perform high-end joinery tasks, paying particular attention to detail.
* Demonstrate a high level of bench joinery craft using multiple materials.
* Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use and care of key task tools and equipment to achieve an all-round superior quality standard.
* Demonstrate key technical knowledge in reading, understanding and working from manufacturing drawings.
* Demonstrate an ability to use your own initiative and contribute towards continuous improvement techniques.
* Take instructions from the production manager and carry out the task in a professional and efficient manner.
* Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working order.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be required to:
* Previous experience working as a Bench Joiner/ Workshop Joiner
* Post-apprenticeship experience of furniture, carpentry, and joinery.
