Your new company

We are currently recruiting an asset compliance lead for a large North West housing association. This position is to cover a minimum of 9 months.

Your new role

You will be the operational lead for the delivery of statutory housing and regulatory asset compliance obligations in relation to Asbestos, Legionella, Lifts, Gas, Electrical and Fire Safety. You will manage the team responsible for the facilities' management of the housing association's head office and will manage a multidisciplinary, highly competent and engaged team which delivers a broad range of services. You will act as a Subject-Matter Expert on regulatory and legislative compliance matters, aiding the Head of Building Safety and Compliance to achieve safety first decision-making across the group and an embedded safety culture.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience and training. It is essential you have experience of managing a multidisciplinary asset and compliance team, ideally in social housing, and you must be able to provide evidence of providing innovative solutions and exploitation of new opportunities resulting from changes within the regulatory and legal framework. You will have a proven track record of achieving hig levels of performance.

Alongside the above, you will require excellent written and verbal communication skills and will have the ability to build solid working relationships, with the ability to influence people at all levels. You must also hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
