ASB Officer - Manchester - Ongoing temp

We are looking to recruit experienced ASB Officers in the Greater Manchester region on an ongoing temporary basis with hourly rates up to £23 per hour.


Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for triaging and investigating cases of Anti-Social Behaviour and other tenancy breaches including hate crime, domestic violence and nuisance.
  • Preparing all pre-court paperwork, court applications, full injunctions and possession proceedings.
  • Taking witness, victim and perpetrator statements, collecting relevant evidence and representing the organisation at court
  • Enforcement of tenancy conditions and challenging community safety issues

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Experience of working within a housing/tenancy enforcement setting
  • Good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy/housing management including ASB, crime and disorder, compliance and sector best practice
  • Good level of experience in legal processes where legal representation is required, including hearings and pleadings
  • Experience of taking witness statements, managing ASB and nuisance cases, and enforcement of tenancy conditions
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle
  • Aware of best practice in safeguarding adults and children
