Your new role
In your new role, you will be working as an Architect/Architectural Assistant within the Industrial sector, where you will:
  • Design Buildings: Create detailed plans and designs for buildings and structures.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Project Planning: Develop project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Technical Drawings: Produce technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
  • Building Regulations: Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and construction techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to bring designs to life.
  • Site Visits: Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the design and construction phases.
  • Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into designs.

What you'll need to succeed

Preferred:
  • Experience within the industrial sector.
  • Client facing experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • All/most RIBA stages experience.
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit expertise.
