Accounts Payable Manager
To lead our AP function and support our finance operations.

Role Overview: As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of finance within the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier account reconciliations
  • Supervise and support the AP team, ensuring high performance and adherence to deadlines
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes related to AP
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and reporting
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Liaise with auditors and support audit processes as required

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Experience working in the property industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
