Hays are proud to be working with a fast-growing and reputable environmental organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to add an enthusiastic Accounts Supervisor to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or part-qualified accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career and wants to progress alongside a company through a period of growth.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Daily management of cashflow
  • Providing commentary on variances
  • Audit preparation
  • Stakeholder management
  • Budgets and Forecasting
  • Supporting/mentoring junior members of the finance team

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be a motivated finance professional who is currently pursuing qualifications or has experience in a similar role. You will have a strong attention to detail and be a proactive team player to support the finance function. You will be experienced in the preparation of management accounts and be comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
