Hays is working with a brilliant client based in North West Leicestershire who is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader.

Your new role

• As an AR Team Leader reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be at the helm of a small, goal-driven team. Your role involves supervising their daily operations, ensuring that all transactional procedures and controls are executed within the agreed KPIs, and fostering a positive team spirit.
• This position encompasses problem resolution, account reconciliation, process oversight, and team development. You will be an integral part of a large, dynamic department within a growing Plc that places high value on its employees.
• Supervise ongoing procedures: invoicing, crediting, cash allocation
• Oversee controls and check
• Report on unallocated cash KPIs
• Manage Direct debit collections
• Conduct complex account reconciliations
• Handle bad debt write-off
• Conduct internal audit
• Enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality/service standards
• Provide cover for the team during sickness and holiday
• Ensure month-end deadlines are met
• Coordinate with Management and wider team on issues, progress, and processes
• Performing other duties as requested by the line manager

• At least 3 years AR experience
• At least 1 year of leading a team
• Excellent organisation skills
• A positive can do attitude
