We are partnered with a well-established, supportive, and friendly company looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their team in Knowsley.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Efficient Invoice Processing:
    • You’ll be responsible for processing utility invoices, ensuring accurate meter readings are submitted where applicable.
    • Attention to detail is crucial as you match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  2. Supplier:
    • Supplier statement reconciliation is a critical part of this role.
    • You’ll maintain positive relationships with our suppliers, ensuring smooth transactions.
  3. System Management:
    • Set up supplier accounts on our accounting system and complete supplier credit account forms.
    • Ensure all invoices slated for payment are properly authorised and signed off.
  4. Timely Payments:
    • Prepare supplier payment runs, ensuring all invoices are paid correctly and within a timely manner.
    • Your accuracy will contribute to our financial stability.
  5. Aged Creditors Ledger:
    • Maintain the aged creditors ledger, keeping track of outstanding payments.
    • Your attention to detail will help us manage our financial commitments effectively.
