We are delighted to represent an established practice based in Wrexham, who are seeking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This practice provides a range of accountancy and business services to a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in an array of industries including service sector, travel, retail, construction contractors and sub-contractors, and manufacturing companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a hands-on role in a firm with a great culture.


Your new role

As Account Assistant, you will be joining an experienced and supportive team. Your day-to-day duties will cover basic bookkeeping, working on a range of clients from sole traders and partnerships, as well as limited companies. You will have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients and develop client relationships. You will also assist the team with the preparation of accounts, completing personal tax returns, VAT returns and working with multiple software such as Sage and QuickBooks.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in the preparation of accounts for a range of clients from differing industries. This candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience. Organisational skills and ability to manage your time independently will make you an excellent candidate for this role. If you have great communication and interpersonal skills, that will be ideal for this position.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £23,000 and £25,000 dependent on experience.
