Hays Senior Finance are working with this great business based in Telford to help them find an Accountant on a 6-month contract.

Your new role

The job of the Accountant will be a varied one and will involve but not be limited to:

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary
• Bank reconciliations
• Full ownership of the cashbook process
• Weekly cashflow forecasting for all entities
• Setting up balance sheet reconciliation
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Assisting with VAT Return
• Assisting with processing supplier invoices during busy periods
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting the annual audit process
• Producing adhoc reporting

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role, and they will be on a maximum of 1 week's notice. The candidate should be comfortable committing to a 6-month contract and happy working on site in Telford 5 days a week.
