We are recruiting an Accommodation Officer for a large North West Housing Association to work within a NHS key worker accommodation scheme based in Wirral.Your new role
As an accommodation officer, you will be responsible for day-to-day management, including rent services, accounting processes and organising repairs and maintenance for a NHS-based, key worker accommodation scheme. You will contribute towards the effective management of service delivery to the Group’s key worker portfolio, ensuring that key performance indicators are met. You will be required to do tenancy sign-ups, take rent payments, allocations and terminations.
This is a full-time on-site role, and you will be required to work 35 hours a week Monday - Friday, working either 8.30-4.30pm or 9-5pm. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. You will be required to cover staff sickness/holidays in schemes based in Chester and Wythenshawe (you would be able to claim back any mileage costs).
What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to have knowledge of legislation in respect of statutory compliance issues and housing management. And you must be able to work independently and as part of a team with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience of day-to -day property management is essential, and you must have experience in tenancy and rent account management. You will be an excellent communicator who can build positive relationships with the residents. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent are essential for this role.What you'll get in return
