My client is an instantly recognisable and well-established Insurance brand, who are looking to hire a Solution Architect with experience of managing Global Partnerships, with technical expertise spanning Oracle (PL/SQL), Java, .Net and Azure / GCP.
This role will see you own the relationship between Enterprise Architecture and Delivery, communicating in both directions. You will need to communicate the vision for how the Enterprise Architecture roadmap will evolve to reach the target Architectural state as well as reduce technical debt, whilst producing solution options and Technical Designs for Projects, consulting with Scrums to ensure the Designs are understood and viable.
Key Requirements:
Up to £1000 per day (Inside IR35 – Umbrella)
London / Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with proven Insurance industry experience
- Demonstrable ability to produce Enterprise standard Architecture documentation
- Ability to design high quality and repeatable processes that result in low levels of production issues
- Awareness of industry best practice and new and upcoming technology trends
- Comprehensive Solution Architectural understanding across software and networking
- Experience of managing large Programmes of work across multiple Delivery teams
- Working knowledge of tracking delivery timelines and interdependencies across multiple teams
- Varied technical competency across Oracle (PL/SQL), Java, .Net and Azure / GCP
- Knowledge of Data exchange and integration best practices relating to traditional on-prem as well as cloud networks (Azure and / or GCP)
- Automation of CI/CD pipelines in ADO (Azure DevOps) and/or Jira across different technologies
- Proven experience of delivering technical solutions in the insurance industry with excellent knowledge in topics such as Products, Claims and Settlements
- Ability to own and manage Delivery Risks and Issues
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have: - Insurance industry experience
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working, including possible travel to other office locations
