Your new role

As a Civils Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects, including substations, wind farms, and battery storage facilities. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
  • Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or risks.
  • Producing progress reports and advising on mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting tender submissions with planning input and methodology.
  • Coordinating with site teams to ensure alignment between programme and site activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in a planning role within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Experience working on renewable energy projects, particularly substations, wind farms, or battery storage facilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
  • A relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management is desirable.
