Permanent Energy Manager

Your new role

Be the property energy management technical lead, providing advice to property teams and internal stakeholders.
Develop and manage an estate-wide Utility & Asset Metering strategy to enhance data collection and visibility of energy consumption and renewable generation data at site level and report through a dedicated energy management reporting platform.
Develop and manage a robust energy Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) program across all utility meters and asset data to drive energy reduction and reduce energy waste.
Provide expert analysis of energy data through an enhanced understanding of the building portfolio and the relative energy consumption profiles. Ability to identify and react quickly to consumption changes within the estate through investigation of data.
Conduct onsite energy audits of a variety of buildings as required, identifying and quantifying opportunities for energy optimisation and carbon reduction.
Develop and produce business cases for energy reduction and renewable energy generation opportunities in relation to both capital projects and local PMP (Planned Maintenance Programme).

What you'll need to succeed

Previous strong experience of working successfully in a similar energy management advisory role, across a multi-site estate of various building types and applications (Solar PV, HVAC, Lighting, BMS & Controls), ideally within the built environment sector (A, I)
B.Sc./NVQ Level 7 in Energy Management/Sustainability or equivalent, and professional membership with an accredited organisation such as the Energy Institute, Energy Managers Association CIBSE (A)
Strong understanding of relevant legislative requirements such as ESOS, Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB), Part L Building Regulations, F Gas Regulations, Climate Change Act 2008. (A)
