Junior HR Business Partner, Edinburgh location, Permanent

In this role you will join the people team as an HR Business Partner. This role is ideal for someone at a generalist level who is looking to advance to HRBP.

Your new role

In this role, you will be working at Business Partner level working in a specific business area, and you will get involved in a variety of generalist HR duties including -


  • Being the first point of contact with HR within your region
  • Manage Employee relations case work
  • Support the delivery of HR strategy within the organisation
  • Collaborate and liaise with the wider company to ensure HR policies are being followed
  • Utilising HR systems such as Natural HR
  • Supporting with recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • People engagement and culture
  • Performance Improvement
  • Learning and Development
  • Talent planning


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have worked as an HR / People specialist or at Advisory level, and are looking to progress to your next role. You will have demonstrable experience with the following -


  • Employee relations case work
  • Good HR systems knowledge
  • Excellent collaboration and team-work skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships within the wider business
  • CIPD qualification, or willing to work towards
  • Commitment to career development
