Hays are representing a leading construction company to recruit a Social Value Co-Ordinator in Magherafelt.

Your new role

As a Social Value Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of social value commitments across a range of construction projects. You will assist in aligning client requirements with the company’s capabilities to create meaningful and measurable social impact. Your responsibilities will include: contributing to bid submissions, monitoring and reporting on social value outcomes, and engaging with stakeholders, community groups, and supply chain partners to deliver initiatives that support employment, education, and community development. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records using platforms and client-specific portals, supporting internal and external communications, and staying informed on evolving frameworks and best practices in social value delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with social value frameworks (e.g., TOMs) and reporting tools is desirable but not essential.
