Your new role
- As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in managing the company’s financial health by overseeing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and minimising outstanding debts.
- Managing credit control processes, chasing overdue payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Reconciling accounts, resolving invoice disputes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborating with internal teams to streamline billing procedures and improve cash flow.
- Conducting risk assessments to evaluate creditworthiness and optimise payment terms.
- Maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in credit control
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
