Senior Electrical Engineer job in Cardiff or Swansea, £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, permanent contract.

Your New Company

Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting a leading consultancy with the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Engineer based out of their Cardiff or Swansea offices.

Your New Role

You will design all Electrical Building Services systems including power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection etc, carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry-standard software tools as well as prepare technical specifications.

You will represent the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors, complete site surveys, inspections and monitor site work along with maintaining complete records and archives to company standards adhering to all quality, environmental & governance processes.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

You will be a qualified engineer in Building Services Engineering/Electrical Engineering, ideally be chartered or working towards with a good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools including Amtech/Prodesign/Electrical OM, Dialux/Relux, NBS and Microsoft packages.

What You’ll Get In Return

This role is being offered with a salary between £50,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience with good benefits.
