Our client is a small but growing Building Services consultancy that has been operating successfully for over 5 years. With a strong reputation and a healthy pipeline of work, they specialise in a range of projects, particularly within the education sector. The team is friendly, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality M&E design solutions.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced M&E CAD Technician to join this dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills in the
Building Services sector who is also eager to learn Revit, as the company is looking to expand its BIM capabilities in the near future.
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed mechanical and electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and coordinated designs.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing CAD standards and drawing protocols.
  • Show a proactive attitude toward learning Revit and supporting the company’s transition to BIM workflows.
  • Keep drawing records and documentation up to date.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrable experience as a CAD Technician within the Building Services industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Good understanding of M&E building services layouts and coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to learn Revit (training and support will be provided).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
