Your New Job
We are recruiting for a part-time SEN Maths and English Teacher to join a dedicated team from September 2025. This is a temporary role initially, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and long-term fit. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in both Maths and English to small groups of students with a range of additional needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. You’ll work closely with the SENCO and support staff to ensure each learner receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths and English, ideally within an SEN or alternative provision setting
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- A compassionate, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
