About the Role
We are seeking a committed and experienced Interim Senior Leader to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school during a period of transition. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to make a meaningful impact on school improvement, staff development, and pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, while supporting the wellbeing and development of both staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across the school.
  • Lead on key areas such as curriculum development, assessment, behaviour, or inclusion (depending on experience and school priorities).
  • Support and coach teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons and interventions.
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to raising attainment across all key stages.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture.
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are effectively implemented.

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant teaching experience in a primary setting.
  • Proven leadership experience at senior or middle leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and school improvement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A collaborative and solution-focused approach to leadership.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
