**Summer Refurbishment Schemes in Belfast - Foreperson Required from 23/6**

Your new company

This County Down-based contractor has rapidly risen to take its place as a competitive player and main contractor in the Northern Ireland marketplace today.
Operating within both the public and private sectors, this business specialises in Main Contracting & Construction Management, spanning a variety of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential schemes.
The Company maintains an Integrated Management System across Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Health & Safety (ISO 45001) standards, and operating industry best practices. Now with several new sites starting in late-June, they are seeking to onboard an experienced Foreperson to oversee a number of small refurbishment areas across the Belfast area.

Your new role

With 6/7 projects due to start in Greater Belfast, the initial schemes are spread out across the city on a number of minor school refurbishments to be completed over the next 12–14 weeks.
This project will involve a variety of scheduled works, mainly encompassing soft strips and minor internal upgrades. With a small team in place, your role will be to provide technical support where required while ensuring productivity is optimised. Dealing directly with multiple stakeholders, including clients and labour, this role will be suited to a strong individual who is capable of driving schemes forward. This is initially a temporary position and will see you benefit from local work with a programme of works due to span over a potential 3-4 month period initially.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed as a foreperson, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role, and ideally have worked with both internals and externals of a building. You should also have strong communication skills and have a successful track record of overseeing fast-paced refurbishment schemes and supervising staff on site. Ideally, you will have worked on similar projects and be strong in the supervision of all internal trades. With projects commencing on 23rd June, you must be available for an immediate start.

What you'll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a local contractor which has rapidly grown and will continue to do so over the next number of years. With a close-knit team in place, this company offers you the opportunity to join at an excellent stage and benefit from local projects with the opportunity for longer-term works. You will also avail of a competitive hourly rate.
