Payroll Administrator - Immediate Start - Lisburn

Your new role

•Processing multiple payrolls accurately and on time, in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
•Maintaining employee financial records, including new starts, leavers, and changes to personal details.
•Providing advice and guidance on pay-related matters to staff and managers.
•Ensuring correct application of pay scales, overtime, allowances, and pension contributions.
•Performing manual calculations for complex pay scenarios, including arrears and overpayments.
•Supporting the preparation of payroll journals and statutory returns.
•Assisting with system maintenance, data input, and service improvement initiatives.
•Ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal data governance policies.
•Liaising with internal departments and external bodies such as HMRC, pension providers, and legal representatives.

What you'll need to succeed

•Previous experience in a payroll administration role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
•Strong understanding of PAYE, statutory deductions, and payroll legislation.
•Experience working with multiple terms and conditions of employment.
•Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
•Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
•Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly.
•A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
