Your new company

Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work in KS1 & KS2 within Primary Schools in Burgess Hill. These supply teaching roles are in September and will cover a variety of schools across the area. As these roles are day-to-day supply, this role is flexible, and you can work flexibly around your schedule.

Your new role

This role can be on a full-or part-time basis and will be suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools in KS1 & KS2. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class for the day; the role is open to ECTs. The successful candidate will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers throughout the year to form a collaborative team. Whilst the roles are day-to-day supply, there will be opportunities for longer-term supply as well as some opportunities for permanent roles if successful in a placement. If you like the challenge of working in multiple primary schools in the local area with a different school each day, then this is the role for you!

What you'll need to succeed

- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
- Experience within the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
