SEN Teacher Required in Preston - September Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a supportive school environment? Hays Education is seeking a skilled professional to join a well-established 11-19 school in Preston on a maternity cover basis.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive lessons tailored to students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure individual learning needs are met.
  • Create and adapt resources to support diverse learning requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted intervention where necessary.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and learning.
