Your new company
Our client is a statutory body that isn't driven by profit, they exist purely to service and support. They maintain professional standards and training/qualifications and uphold codes of conduct and regulations. They are a lovely bunch of people who work really closely together, they are in nice offices with parking right outside the front door and a bus stop literally 2 minutes round the corner, so they are really easy to get to.
Your new role
This job is a varied and interesting one that covers 5 main areas of work, so you'll never get bored because there's always something new to do.
From providing secretarial team support in booking meetings to updating, maintaining and organising the company archives to reviewing & screening statutory documentation and paperwork. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10am - 2.30pm (including half an hour for lunch), because the flow of work isn't skewed to certain days, and it would help to have someone who can help cover the phones over lunchtimes.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for good all-round administrative skills gained through recent office experience and if you've maintained databases of information, then please detail that on your CV as it will really enhance your application. We're looking for someone who is able to look over information and make critical decisions based on what they see - plus you'll sometimes need to explain how you've got to your decision to a range of colleagues, so your brilliant people skills and communication skills will come in very handy in the job too.
What you'll get in return
The working hours for this job are perfect for a parent looking for a job that still allows you to get the kids to and from school. It's a good salary and interesting work, so you'll feel like you're really contributing to the organisation instead of just watching the clock tick round. The offices are in a great location outside the city centre with parking right outside and a bus stop round the corner, so they are dead easy to get to.
