Anti Social Behaviour Officer (Social Housing) - Liverpool - Ongoing temp

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour on an ongoing, temporary basis in Liverpool, paying up to £24 per hour with hybrid working.

The successful candidate will be working closely with customers and colleagues to investigate, manage and resolve cases, determining appropriate actions whilst working with a range of external stakeholders such as Local Authority, Police and Safeguarding teams.

Your new role

  • Investigating and resolving ASB, nuisance, safeguarding, hate crime, tenancy breaches and other issues impacting the community, working alongside colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the most effective resolution for customers and the business

  • Preparing all pre-court paperwork, court applications including affidavits, and using a range of legal remedies and early intervention tools to minimise and deter future issues

  • Instigating all court actions including full injunctions and possession proceedings, self-representing in court where required and providing support to customers in preparation for attendance at court

  • Visiting victims, perpetrators and witnesses in cases of ASB, gathering evidence and witness statements to aid the preparation of legal cases

  • Responding to complaints and queries from local councillors

  • Representing the group at liaison meetings including joint action group meetings, and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience managing cases of anti-social behaviour, hate crime, domestic violence and other tenancy breaches

  • Experience of gathering evidence, collating witness statements and preparing pre-court paperwork in relation to ASB/tenancy breaches and evictions as well as self-representation in court

  • Aware of best practice in safeguarding adults and children

  • Good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy and housing management including ASB, crime and disorder

  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
