A 2 form entry school in Wallasey, Wirral has a Year 5 class teaching job. This Key Stage 2 teaching job starts in September 2025 and is fixed term for one year in the first instance.

Your new role

As one of 2 year 5 teachers, this job involved working as part of a team to plan lessons and assess pupil progress. You will share responsibility for ensuring lessons are fun and engaging and that children progress throughout the year. You will also be part of the Key Stage 2 team of teachers and TAs who work closely to ensure the school ethos is promoted and there is a sense of community at school.

What you'll need to succeed

To secure this Year 5 class teaching job you will need:

• QTS
• Experience of working in a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2
• A proven ability to work as part of a team to meet shared goals
• A willingness to work towards school policies and uphold the ethos and sense of community the team are known for
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with your team, parents and other agencies involved in children's welfare
