Your New Job
We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to join this exceptional team from
September 2025. This is a full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. In this role, you will:
  • Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEMH and associated learning difficulties.
  • Plan and teach engaging, differentiated lessons across core subjects.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders to support pupils’ academic and emotional development.
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies and contribute to a therapeutic learning environment.
  • Support pupils in achieving their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings and multi-agency planning.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
