Your new role

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes.
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines (Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
