Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at a Primary School in Central Bristol. This role is based in Key Stage 1 and will be suited to someone who is passionate about the early stages of primary school teaching. The staff at this school are dedicated and highly trained ensuring each child develops a love of learning; preparing them for their life-long learning journeys; the school would want you to become a part of this warm and welcome atmosphere. The school is an Infant School based in the BS5 area with a committed and dedicated Headteacher who encourages all staff to become the best version of themselves.
Your new role
The role will be based in either Year 1 or Year 2, dependent on the requirement from September.
The school will be looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills as the class will have a mixture of varying abilities. As well as day-to-day classroom abilities, the successful candidate will be willing and open to become a part of the school’s culture and embed themselves within the team. Full classroom teacher responsibilities are required including marking and planning; a full inventory of responsibilities will be negotiated with the school before you start so that you can be remunerated appropriately. What you'll need to succeed
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
- Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 in the last 3 years is required
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum including Interventions
