Project Manager required for upcoming large-scale commercial project (NO UK TRAVEL)

Your new company

Hays Belfast are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected construction firm based in Northern Ireland. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, this company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-end commercial projects across a variety of sectors. Their expertise spans office fit-outs, structural steel fabrication, rebar production, and the supply of concrete accessories. With a focus on craftsmanship and precision, they consistently deliver projects that meet the highest standards, from large-scale developments to bespoke commercial builds.

Your new role

As a Project Manager, you will take the lead on a flagship commercial development while overseeing a pipeline of additional projects. You will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring each project is delivered efficiently and to specification. The role involves close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and stakeholder communication. You will draw on the company’s in-house capabilities in structural steel and concrete solutions to drive project success.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally with a background in structural steel and concrete works. Strong leadership, organisational, and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline is highly desirable. You should be confident in liaising with stakeholders and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll get in return

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking construction firm with a strong track record of delivering impactful commercial projects. You’ll benefit from a collaborative and supportive work environment, competitive remuneration, and opportunities for professional development. The role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects that make a tangible difference in the local built environment.
