Your new role

We are seeking a Project Supervisor (Building) to support the planning and execution of key construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee various developments, including building extensions, reconfigurations, repairs, and upgrades in both high-security and public environments.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise contractors on-site, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless communication.
  • Support the logistical, technical, and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Prepare and deliver daily and weekly briefings to maintain transparency.
  • Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules for effective project planning.
  • Implement and uphold high health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting project delivery or airport operations.
  • Ensure projects comply with all legal, regulatory, and planning requirements.
  • Facilitate smooth handover of completed projects to operational departments.
  • Troubleshoot challenges in collaboration with consultants and contractors.
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours when needed, to meet project demands.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and exercises where required.


What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in construction or building project supervision.
  • Strong logistical, technical, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A keen eye for risk mitigation and compliance.
  • The ability to lead contractors, maintain schedules, and oversee quality control.
  • Flexibility to accommodate out-of-hours activities when required.
