Health & Safety Advisor

Hays Health & Safety are working with a leader in their area of construction based in the Lancashire area to find their next proactive and driven Health & Safety Advisor to join their fast-paced and growing organisation.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager you will play a significant part in sharing the hands-on workload whilst also managing Health & Safety documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and to a high standard.

They are looking for an individual who has 12 months+ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction and a NEBOSH General certificate or other equivalent qualifications.

The role

  • Support with general Health & Safety duties such as undertaking RAMS, Audits and toolbox talks
  • Promote a positive Health & Safety culture
  • Utilise knowledge of legislation to ensure sites are compliant and advise key stakeholders and contractors
  • Collect, analyse and present data to team leaders, driving continuous improvement
  • Review current risk assessment and audit documentation
  • Highlight any trends and patterns that occur from reporting on site

The candidate

  • Ideally 12 months+ experience as a Health & Safety professional in the construction industry
  • Qualified to NEBOSH General or similar
  • A CSCS card would be an advantage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word

The Package

A salary of up to 35k is on offer for the right candidate.
