Your new role

- Take ownership of the technical delivery, quality assurance, and budgetary control across a diverse portfolio of projects.
- Provide hands-on leadership in resolving complex design challenges on both small-scale and major developments.
- Lead and inspire the MEP team, ensuring team leaders are empowered, accountable, and supported in their professional growth.
- Drive innovation by encouraging exploration of new technologies, sectors, and client opportunities.
- Oversee financial forecasting, resource planning, and project performance monitoring.
- Act as a key client liaison, nurturing relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Champion best practices in design and project delivery, embedding continuous improvement across the team.
- Play a central role in bid preparation and technical leadership for new business opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng).
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in building services design and project delivery.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong client-facing experience and a track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
- Excellent commercial awareness and project management capabilities.
Desirable: - Experience working across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, and commercial developments.
- A passion for sustainable design and innovation in building services engineering.
