Your new role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support a busy Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal administrative work, particularly in litigation, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of legal processes and client service delivery.


  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and court bundles.
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate court dates and deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, and other third parties professionally and confidentially.
  • Open, maintain, and close case files in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, post, and telephone calls.
  • Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.
  • Assist with billing processes, time recording, and expense claims.
  • Support the litigation team with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and document management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures, court rules, and firm policies.
